pump fuel screw question
« on: May 21, 2013, 08:24:41 pm »
I'm looking at buying a td pump with LDA to replace the stock ECOdiesel pump. The fuel screw has been taken out of the replacement pump. I'm wondering if it is ok to use the ECO pump screw on the turbo pump. Does anyone have the two pumps that they could compare screws on? I imagine they would be the same, but who knows. Other than this everything else looks to be in good shape.

I'll see if I have a couple to compare.

In the meantime, I'd check the radial endplay of the input shaft of the "new" IP. More than .5mm could be an issue.
