WTB: 1.6 Turbo Intake manifold Elbow
« on: April 29, 2013, 02:39:38 pm »
I need a 1.6 Turbo intake elbow. I need the elbow that bolts to the top of a standard 1.6 turbo intake manifold.

Or a another 1.6 TD complete(manifold and elbow) intake manifold will work. I don't care if the black plastic valve is included or not.

thanks,

Eco or true TD, they are different IIRC.

I have an extra. What do you want to pay for one? Or maybe I should ask what you expect to pay for one. ;<)

I didn't realize that the ecco was different. Is it just that there is no boost/hose port? Mine is a standard 1.6TD intake but without the elbow on top. Its missing.

Toby: What did you want for your intake?

I believe the eco has smaller hose openings on the turbo and the intake flange. I have had only the TD ones in a car. Now that I think about it I have one from the eco I made my intake out of. Also, the back of the casting of the intake on the eco is thicker and needing ground when using a k24 or t3 the housing hits.

The compressor outlet is the same between the K24, T3 AND K14.

what about the inlet to the intake manifold? I knew the K24 and t3 were the same, I haven't owned a K14. I was just thinking someone else had said that was the case.
Either way I have an elbow if the guy needs it.

The compressor inlet is smaller but doesn't affect the metal intake manifold elbow.  ETKA shows the intake elbow to be the same between the MF and 1V engines.  They have a separate drawing for the MF and 1V turbocharger and only show the rubber elbow between the compressor and intake in the MF drawing.  I do not find another listing for that part for the 1V.
