FS: rear main teflon seal and carrier. SOLD
« on: January 01, 2013, 12:08:38 pm »
FS: Rear main teflon seal and carrier. I bought it for the ALH and didn't need it when I installed the clutch. I have one for my 1.6 as well and don't want to keep it around until the next project.

39.00 shipped in the 48 states.
37.00 plus actual and hassle to everywhere else.

BTW, the teflon seal has no spring in it so that it will not cut into the crankshaft near as bad. It is a bonus to the good sealing.

Yes, I learned about them from my ALH and CRSMP5. They have an install tool in the center and you have to let the seal sit for at least an hour before turning the crankshaft. The teflon has to relax around it. If you rush it, the seal will leak.
