Isn't Quantum longitudinal and your Jetta's are transverse, so I would say no.

The posting for this car says "runs drives needs a headgasket" To me that doesn't make any sense. I've never done a headgasket before is it something i could do on the spot with a bag o tools? so i could drive it rather than trailer it or have it shipped?
