gotcha gotcha, sucks, Ive got the single peice halves

wonder if a used set would be available/ok to use?
Its weird, I have a ball mic to check bearings, Ive re-used bearings and put 50k miles on them before selling the vehicle in great condition with no noises and great oil pressure.
Ive even re-used PISTON rings, a heavy hone hash, and ONCE around the outside of the compression rings with some 800 grit paper and pulled HIGH compression numbers on gassers just barely broke in. No smoke problems, no oil consumption. Right now I have a set of mahle pistons with rings that have 1800 miles on them that I am thinking about re-using.
I know that on bearings if they measure good, really, they are fine, but what do you guys think (if I wasnt OP I would probably start a new thread for this)
I mean Ive seen re-used headgaskets which I think is CRAZY, stretch bolts maybe? I have a prothe timing belt and tensioner that I plan on using FOR THE MOMENT. I dont have timing covers yet so will swap belts when I find covers. first fire will be on a custom stand not in a car, just gotta find a junk bellhousing piece for timing purposes.
really want to put this engine together, but its almost overwhelming. I can get a complete 22re engine rebuild kit, bearings, pistons, oil pump, the works for like $300 bucks.
