I might shamelessly remind you I have a vnt, mount and intake for sale. Would only need plumbing
stock 1.6td ~60hp... where do you think 100hp is possible?? add in giles fuel pump ~1k thats closer to 100hp... so for your budget... do not think a turbo alone will get you 100hp...
Fabbing engine mounts for a VNT is a MK2 thing,.. not a Rabbit thing.
You could do that, but you'd still be fabbing up custom intake / exhaust piping. It would run okay without the vanes hooked up, I imagine. Probably not drastically different from a T3. that solves one of the main problems i had in mounting the turbo!
