WTB AAZ Head, set of 2-spring valve spring set w/ seats

Hello everybody!

Let's get the obvious out of the way; looking for an AAZ head for my project.  The only baisic conditions is it must be:
1.Sraight sealing surface
2.Good original precups installed
3.Good valve seats
4.All cam caps w/ VC studs installed

I can buy my own valves, guides, vavle spring tops and retainers.  I baisically want a complete serviceable head core to port and maybe rebuild as I see fit.

The next thing I'd like to have (but not necessarily need) i sa set of dual valve springs complete with seats.  I already have a set of good single springs, so this is kind of a good-to-have.  Gonna be running a bit of boost and just looking or a bit of peace of mind.

P.S.:  Where can you buy good AAZ cams?

I've got one $250 plus shipping. Has 8mm valves with single springs unfortunately. Comes complete with cam, valve cover, etc. Everything except gaskets and the oil gallery plug on the side. I can send you some macro pics of the pre-cups etc. Head looks to be in good shape although I never ran it as I sold my IDI.

hey i got you covered on the springs if ya want... have a bent valve 16v head here.. same as i used on my tdi.. if you want some springs let me know..

Oh yeah I forgot the 16v springs and seats work in 8v heads!  I guess I'll just get those along with the trans setup when we do our late march part pick-up trip.  How much?

And RalleyDiesel, I'll PM you an email address for those pics.  Do you think you could sell the head as a bare unit?  I'd take it without cam and lifters at least.

I'll message Eddie later, but would I just ast for a 1.6 cam?  I don't exactly get what I'm contacting him about concerning cam selection or whatever.
