I like the Seat cluster. I've never seen one of those before. The VW one should be fully digital requiring a VSS to drive the speedometer. I'm assuming the Seat one uses a cable since it doesn't have the digital readout for the mileage.

Huh? You are allowed to change the odometer? What's a MOT? and why do they care about the odometer reading. Over here, no one cares about the mileage except when a car is sold, and then if it has been modified in any way, you just have to sign a paper stating that the odometer is not the actual mileage. I'd just live with an odometer with 100k more than actual, especially if you don't plan on selling the car. $90 seems pretty cheap to stay out of jail for odometer fraud, but are you sure these guys are legit.
