I like it all except for the PVC tubing. What turbo are you running and do you smoke like mofo off boost?

Nice intake. Did you have to cut the radiator support to fit the intercooler? Can you post a shot of how it fits down there? I think pvc is recommended against. I'd like to see a video of it taking off from a deadstop & maybe a drive by if you can. Good luck with it!

ill take some pictures of the mounting of the intercooler. i actually cut the bumper and it sits out in front of the core support. the only cutting involved in the core support is the holes where the piping goes through.
pvc is fine if you use the right kind schedual 20 and 40 wont take the heat but schedual 80 will.
i can probably get a vid or two going but i cant beat on it to hard since the clutch just started slipping when i run it hard.

brandon stopped by after supper, the car runs really well, its unfortunate the clutch started slipping, cause the car really has balls and lots of potential, it's built really well, the only upgrade for it would be better turbo or an aaz head. turbo spool is as good as the stock t3 and k24, egts are very very low. on the compressor map the 1.6 doesn't go through the most efficient part of the map, but it stays on the healthier part of the teo4 map, definitely is a good turbo on the 1.6 and the compressor is good for 20-24psi. it has a larger exhaust a/r than what is normally on a diesel but that doesn't seem to have effected spool up, but it does seem to be keeping egts low.

since i have to replace the clutch while the trans is out i might have to change to the garrett turbo lol.

a VNT 15 will probably blow the socks off that TE04 in air flow and spool up..
not saying that just because i own one either..

teo4 is capable of more flow and more pressure, i'm sure the vnt spools up much much more quickly tho. i looked at the specs of the t3 from a turbo dodge, its specs match the 45 trim mercedes diesel t3, like powered by spearco has on his car except for that it has a water cooled center section, so it would work but he'll need good fueling to make it a viable turbo.
