i am in portugal,dont have trafic problems on were i live.
 i have a passat 35i variant 1.9d(1Y),with 1Y custom intake,megane rs front intercooler,vnt2052v turbocharger,tdi gearbox,oil cooler,60mm stainless exhaust,and i am building a 11mm pump.

that is not a "stock" engine,and will(if pump work like i hope) sound bad ass at idle and perform on he road the same way.

its not sleeper status tho.. diesels should all idle like a stock diesel.. that makes your opponent that much more surprised/pissed off when you go smokin by him..
92 Jetta GLI - Black, 1.6D w/ GT2056V turbo..
86 GTI - 4 Door, Med Twilight Gray, Tow Machine..
86 Audi Coupe GT - Tornado Red, All Stock.. WRECKED.
89 Toyota 4Runner - Dark Grey Metallic, LIFTED!

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

I don't have opponents lol
I ride smooth,the idle thing is for self-pleasure ;D

The land rover TDI pump arrived, so the 11mm donor is at home.
The plan is to build the pump the regular way (to be easier to pinpoint problems) and then when all is ok try to adjust the springs strength

Thicken your fuel till the idle compensation can't happen fast enough :-\
Hello, what do you mean by Thickening the fuel? Make it more viscous?

Adding some diesel fuel additives can increase the thickness of the fluid.  This leads to higher internal pressure and with some additives more Cetane which will add power to the fuel.

You don`t have to put a spring for the idle. Just put it on the other way round.

When my diesel was hunting at idle, the only way I could not get it not to hunt was at 2000rpm.}

That`s what the diesel shop mechanic told me anyway, that I had the spring on backward, could be true.
