Is this a good or bad strut bearing? have video

Is this strut bearing good or bad? This video was taken after removing the strut assembly from the passenger side. It spins freely and the rubber looks solid. Is that side to side rocking motion normal?

i would say its worn out.. mine never spun that freely, or had that much side to side play in them..

Turbo: exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster.

replace them along with the slotted nut/bushing. They are worn out.

What kind of bearing is in there? Is it a ball bearing or sleeve?

What's the torque spec for the slotted nut? The ones on mine were not tightened all the way as I was able to turn it a bit more  (compressing the spring).

I bought a set of new INA brand strut mounts at a VW show. The vendor used to work for VW as a tech and said it's the right one for my car.

On the left is the new one, the right is the old. one I removed. Notice the right one sits lower? Is it compressed and NG or is the new one the wrong one?

Its a ball bearing. I dont know the torque spec as I use a half inch airgun.
