What do you guys think of these rims? (rare content inside)

Well, I picked up the Gutmann rims for the Golf today, and man is it gonna look nice. They're 4x108 but I'm getting all new brake parts and hubs re-drilled so they will fit. The rims are from a Peugeot 205 GTI and it's the offset of 13 that makes them rare

Only three centercaps though...
I did a mock-up of how the offset is going to be.

What do you guys think?

sorry if that wasnt the praise you were looking for, but i have owned a few mk2 VWs now, and i know what rubs in those fender wells.. and when the edge of the tire is past the edge of the fender, thats a great recipe for rubbage..
hell, my old skool Enkeis rub the fenders, and they are mild offset..

Fair enough, o wise man

I know what I have to do about the rubbing issues, so that's not a problem. I was just wondering what people thought about the looks of the rims.

I like em!
Seems like a pretty high offset though.
What do you plan to do for clearance? What are the other dimensions diameter and width?

Thanks guys! It's a 7" wide rim with 195/50 R15. I'm running stock height, but my shocks are worn in the back, so I might get coilovers, but I'm not sure yet. The process of approving is tedious.. So I might just get some stock height dampers and stiffer springs.
I'm also gonna bend in the inner lip of the arch and maybe roll the arches a little. We'll see

13 mm offset is gonna be a bit pokey, but on a mk2 it shouldn't be too bad, especially with the smaller tires, and if worst comes to worst he could run gti flares, but i don't think it will be that bad, i have 6x13 et13 wheels on my mk1 jetta and they don't stick past the flare, so he's gonna have another half inch sticking out, i know they're 2 different cars but they are comparable, and mk2s are alot more accomodating to larger wheels
gotta get coil overs, those size tires with that offset will look goofy with too much wheel gap

They look hard to clean. And they look a lot like... stock VW rims... but wider. I'm sorry, I guess they just aren't my taste. And not having Peugeots newer than about 1989 over here, I'm not familiar with any of their stuff.
