I used a cheap 1-3/8" rubber soft plug to block off my BOV hole.
I don't know the temp rating on these but would think it would be a little higher than
the coolant temp they were intended for. Only tested to 15 lbs boost so far and it
has not popped out yet.

Been thinking about putting a thick washer over the top (the same o.d. as the old BOV) and using the stock clamp as a saftey backup.

I dont think it will blow out hard enough to dent your hood... Unless you were running more than 60PSI or something retarded

There is a lip about a 1/4" down the intake hole At least half way around, that lets the plug expand under to help hold it in.
About the only way its coming out is if the nut backs off or hella boost.

lol, i would think that a washer thats the proper size would be perfect..
the BOV on my intake has a bolt thru it with a 22r rubber valve cover gromet sealing it up. not that im using that intake anymore, but that free modification worked to ~40psi..

A washer would do the trick, or if you have the stock BOV and clamp just cut/grind off the part of the Bov
that sticks in the intake up to the o-ring and clamp it back on top of the rubber plug since the plug sits flush with the hole.
Then it looks stock and you don't have to plug the hole in the intake hose.
