• I believe the book calls them second oversize, but yes it is the first size over stock. Sorry for the confusion.

• well, there are no smaller oversize pistons, so i would call them 1st o/s atleast..

  The OP is correct.  Those are 2nd oversize.  1st oversize is .010" over or 76.73(4,5).  R.O.R. you are also kinda sorta correct as the .010" oversize pistons are not available as far as I know.  It is my understanding that they were used for early factory "remanufactured" engines and presumably used to correct flaws in the original engine manufacture that were minor enough to correct by boring slightly larger.  
  
  
  

  
  wow, gotta have a pretty decent bore to have a .010" overbore clean it up.. then again, ive never seen .010" over pistons either..
