Not bad at all Josh, better than my times. Did you spray any nitrous?
Looks like you got damn good mph, but it doesn't match the ET's.
Whats going on the first half of the track?

Yes, spraying NOS. First, I was not launching hard, as I want to be able to drive home.
Secondly, I got nuthing in first gear, second gear is when I manually switched on the NOS and held it at full throttle threw fourth gear. So the first 60 feet is just getting going.
I'm uploading some videos now.
I've got to get a progressive controller to be able to get off the line sooner/faster.

I know what you mean about driving the rig your racing to the track. All your thinking about is not breaking anything.
I haul whatever I'm racing on my ramp truck just in case something goes bad. I tow other people home all the time.
Looking at the videos your loosing some valuable time the first 330ft, but it looks to be pulling hard on the top end.
I would think you could gain a couple more seconds by reving it up and side stepping the clutch off the line (w/ nitrous in 1st).

Yeah, I'll try that tomorrow some time just to see what happens. Its a dog off the line in the videos huh.

I don't have a tach, but I estimate I was leaving at 2000-2500 rpm with just a little chirping of the tires.
As soon as I dumped the clutch put throttle on floor to engage nitrous. Mine seemed to have more off the line than the top end.

i know this is old as fock, but i was checking out these dyno plots again, and man it is incredible look at the first one, he makes over 150 hp at only 11 psi, the stock boost setting. over double the stock crank hp at the wheels.
and the second one is 180whp at only 23psi just awesome. the other dynos are sweet too but its really great to point out how much power he is making at what most of us consider low boost. the bottom end is kind of sad but over all damn. anyways i'm done digging this old thread back up haha

Josh himself said he may have been spinning the rollers..
said that him and the dyno guy were gonna replace the belts and run it again, but it never happened..
288whp is ALOT.. sounds too good to be true.

Honestly they do look a bit curious especially the higher hp ones with the weird shaky parts at the ends. from looking at all his dynos I'd still think its safe to say he has made 200whp no doubt

I believe the shaking line at the end of the graph is the part when the nitrous probably is farting out the pull and then spinning the tires. Yes spinning the tires as they are the original sized "13 175 x "5 pizza cutters.
Sure, the 288hp/349tq might seem high, but really. A 100hp shot of nitrous on top of what I got for an engine. Its possible.
My truck can blow away one of the new Camaro V6 300hp. no problem. Obviously theres a pwr. to weight ratio that I have in favor.
Thanks for bringing it BTTT.

i just dont see how josh can make power than nobody else has safely done..
usually much over 200hp from a 1.6, and you are god.. much more than 250 or more, and you are playing with fire..

Yeah I agree but it is enough to raise an eye brow. Hey u built the car right like any body doing a gasser would the turbos a good size to prevent back pressure it's efficient up there at 220hp and the exhaust turbine housing is bigger and supposed to be good for 300hp so when you hit the nitrous and add that extra o2 the exhaust side can handle it. And with 100mph trap speeds it's definitely more believable haha

I think because he has good manifolds that flOw well with a ported head, a good sized turbo that's not blowing out hot air or corking up the exhaust and most of the big power is above 3500-4000, and a 10mm Giles pump woot woot. I wonder if an 11 or 12 would help
