Source for .040" over rings?

No, no bad vibes or anything. Just wanting to know if this guy is true-blue or what, as I am selling one block to a guy who is going to need the big rings and I don't think he has thought far enough down the road (found any 0.040 rings) to make his dream come true.

It just seems sort of odd that someone is coming out of the blue (when no one else seems to be able to handle any rings this size) with rings to sell.....that's all. I might just score a set to keep on hand for the next engine which gets zorched! Every block I currently campaign has been punched 0.020 (except for the sleeping Eco!).

I've found a LOT of good sh-- on the Samba over the years. Also found two bad pennies as well....one of which used to spend a LOT of time on this forum..........and still attempts to hawk a lot of stuff on Samba as we speak. Oh man....THAT is going to cause some brain cells to ponder!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya. I'm needing to finish this engine with a quickness so I decided to take a gamble and jump on these rings.
We'll see how it turns out.

got the rings a week or so ago, exactly as described.

Thats what mine looked like execpt the plastic the rings were in and it folded out then it said top ring, 2nd ring, Oil ring
