I used to have one of these once.
I used to watch the lady next door through it......

I can assure you that isn`t for to watch the lady next door through, well not yet,on the left is tin tube 250 mm long(insted of 1 met rubber before) OD 70 mm and that is new intake for my 2500 NA,on the right is original intake  that will became SECOND intake with new KN air filter, black plastik is original air filter box.
This is from donor car,so I want to try is there any improvement as I fill I need same air more on upper rpm.So I have 2 intake join in one,and I am intersting that anybody try samething like?do I need same control on second one.Best

I think more picures will help us.
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

I assume this is supposed to function as a variable length intake runner. There's a couple problems with this design. 1) The split occurs upstream of the manifold- it should be between the intake port and the manifold itself. 2) there's no valve to close one of the pipes at low rpm.

Thanks on replys.
Picture of corse,I see it`s better than digital.

Rally, connection between 2 pipes at air box is almost perfect "Y" so air flow can be good?
for control valve as you see it can be adjustable connected to IP or/and even manually, because it can be different
demand, mostly for black smoke,(pherhaps some insane thing with optical sensor aka automatic).Best

It's a 5 ply lat up with fiberglass, using a manderell

oven for 15 min's

pull it off and holds it shape, trim to spec with a band saw

I would show you, but then you would have put you in a mine shaft in the desert...

I worked at a large mfg to learn the process, I than started my own shop twenty years ago
