Horns don't work

I had horns for a while now I don't. I checked the fuse and the fuse box power with a test light and I have power to the fuse and the fuse is A ok. The relay I have no clue. I also am having a little trouble locating a new one to replace it to see if that is it. I have the mk2 dual horn jetta. Any ideas or relay # and where to buy?

Turn on the ignition and press the horn button. You should hear the relaly click. If not your problem is at the horn button, contact behind the steering wheel or further towards the fuse box. If ypu do hear it , then your problem is either the horns them selves or there is a good chance it's the connectors behind the l/s headlamp, in front of the battery. remove the battery and check the 2 connectors there. It's also possible youonly one horn working for a while and now the good one has kicked the bucket

Guess what. You are correct sir!
The relay was not clicking, test light my friend, and no juice to the wires in the wheel. Steering wheel off had juice at the tab thingy...break cleaner, wire brush, both tab thingy and steering wheel as they looked greasy. Still not work. Pull up tab like a sodapop can and instant horn again

Good, but put some white grease on the contact and slip ring.

dielectric grease aka sparkplug grease is better then white grease

Dielectric is my best friend. Especially on these electrical systems.
