Iam going to make a mandrell to remove the outlet hose to the factory oil cooler
VW Hose part # 037122058
This will make the removal of the factory oil cooler , as this new hose will take the coolant from the hardline to the pump with no connector to the oem oil cooler.
the other hose for this application is 068121053 E ( pump to head )
If you want to use a remote oil cooler filter, instead of the oem , these two hose assy's make it easier
Part # GB037122058-MOD
1 Piece silicone design, 5 ply
Delivery 1 week

I love you...no homo. I was going to grab a set of your hoses for my 1.6. Then it hosed me.
I have to do the entire bucket of front end stut parts. I was going to do coilovers, but chickened out, plus I need it done this weekend. So I will have new BJ's
, control arms, and all that to have a smooth nice ride.
Some day I will have a good set of hoses. Especially now that I won't have to plug the line for the stock oil cooler.

Thanx Trevor
Th large hose on the top of the pic , actually goes to the waterpump , Iam deleting the center hose that attaches to the OEM cooler, the other end connects to the coolant hardline
