yeah, it was too good a deal to pass up, $250 for a kit worth well over $450.

local guy had it on his ford, but he blew it up before he even got one bottle through it.

he injected too much(150 shot) at part throttle and had a backfire in the exhaust that blew his turbo.
the motor died from compressor bits being ingested.

hiss loss, my gain!

but its not making 50 more hp with a n/a diesel..

i had what most would consider the 100 hp jet in my kit.. a bottle lasted me about a day and a half..

Who's talking about a n/a diesel? I'm not ??? As to how long a bottle will last, it depends on bottle size, temp of bottle, jet size and how often you hit the switch. It's not cheap, but its fun.

read your signature, and saw that you had a 1.7 caddy converted to a 1.6 n/a. DID NOT however see the rest of the post about all the fun stuff you added.. lol.

where are you shooting your nitrous?

Its the closest of the 2 lines going into the back of the tdi intake. the other line is for the boost guage.

I am still not sure if I am going to inject mine before or after the supercharger...

also, I am thinking about a bottle blanket, but the commercial nitrous blankets are monstrously expensive.
any ideas about some kind of warming blanket that could be modified to work as one?
I am worried about the cold being an issue with bottle pressure(its -5 out right now, and it is usually colder in jan-feb)

edit:
what do you guys think about this:

I'm with the "you just did something awesome..." crowd. I can't wait to see this engine all bolted together!

enough boost is when you have 3 dimple marks in the hood from the valve cover nuts..  ;D

oh, it will be awesome!

the thing holding me back from installing the supercharger right now is getting the steel plate cut to make the manifold.

I have all the patterns made up, but all I have to cut the 3/16th plate with is a jig saw.
it will do the job, but will be loud and take a while, in the parking lot of my apartment building...
