Hello everyone,
I just torqued my head on last night with the MLS gasket and ARP studs. I followed the ARP directions, but was wondering what others have done with the MLS gasket. Do you guys normally do a retorque after the engine gets warm, to just go around and check all the nuts. Is the 90lbs that the directions said enough? Seems like I remember reading someone on here ended up having to tighten them down more to get things to seal.

I torqued mine in 20lb increments up to 100, but have not run it yet.
Any consensus on re-torque after initial run with the MLS + ARP combo? Necessary or not?

I'm thinking I'll do as he did, warm it up and do a retorque. However, I torqued them to 95lbs already, so I'll just go around and check. I do the same thing with my turbo'd air cooled engine, with chromoly studs and they always snug down a little more after its been apart.
