• Was curious what Bentley says the compression tests should show for a normal engine and the wear limit.

• Okay, I found a haynes manual and it states
  
  Minimum: 279psi
  Deviation: <20% from the highest reading
  
  These are numbers from a US TDI motor.  I figured the compresion ratio is the same in both 1.9L TD and TDI so the sompression test specs would be the same.
  
  Let me know if this is incorrect.

• The TDI is a very different engine design, so the specs are not transferable.
  
  The AAZ specs (Bentley pg 15a-2) are:
  
  new:  493 psi minimum
  wear limit: 377 psi minimum
  max difference between cylinders: 73 psi
