Has anyone tried this in their IDI? It  certainly makes some fantastic claims.

I ordered some at one point. Was told they were making more and will have it shipped out in 2 weeks.

45 days later still didn't have it.

After quite a few emails back and forth they danced around the actual day it would ship and made enough excuses to make me uncomfortable so I filed a refund claim through Paypal and got a refund.

A Company that treats people that have already paid them the way I was treated tells me stay away.

Good luck though.

Endorsed by OCC?  That gives me confidence with all the experience they have with diesel powered bikes.   What really happened is they paid OCC to build a diesel powered bike.   Doesn't prove anything about the additive.

My personal opinion?   Their web site is heavy on testimonials (most of which are low on data).   Any product that relies on testimonials instead of data I consider suspect.   My understanding is that this is used by companies due to legality issues.   If they make express claims on what their product does, they would have to be able to back it up to some extent.   If they just post a lot of testimonials, it is difficult to prove misrepresentation because it wasn't an official manufacturer statement, they were just "passing on a customer's opinion".    The placebo effect can explain much of what is presented in testimonials.

To quote their site:  "A quart of Monster Diesel™, when added to an 18-wheelers’ two tanks of regular diesel, essentially creates a premium grade fuel. "    If we figure 2 100 gallon tanks, this means we are diluting the additive at an 800:1 ratio.  So how does that make the following statements possible?

Reduces diesel consumption by as much as 15%
Boosts diesel fuel’s energy by 10% for increased power and mileage per gallon
Reduces engine wear by as much as 40%
Lowers overall fuel emissions by 23%
Winterizes diesel fuel to allow low temperature operation, preventing gelling and eliminating the need for expensive #1 diesel fuel
Boosts the cetane number by 12.5%--twice the boost of premium gas over regular
Eliminates engine knock
Provides corrosion control in the fuel system
Supplements fuel to make up for the loss in lubricity that occurs when using ultra low sulfur diesel fuel
Changes black exhaust to white by establishing and maintaining the engine’s original fuel injection pattern to burn the fuel more completely

Most interesting is their fine print:

Huh? that really doesn't sound like they know what they are doing. Maybe it's just a can of water.

According to their website, it seems to be in stores around the Baltimore area.

Anyone in that area willing to take a chance on using it? :)
