why does everyone think they NEED the td pump? its not necessary! a good running n/a pump will do just about the same thing, from my experiences atleast. out of all the TDs ive built, the funnest, and quickest ones have n/a pumps on them..
you need turbo, oil lines, filter flange, manifolds, oil pan, down pipe.
anything else is not completely necessary.
i run a TDI vnt turbo on my 1.6 n/a, with a stock (governor mod, and fuel screw wound way in) n/a pump, and a stock bottom end. 22 psi daily, and it rips.
i love it when people say that its harder/impossible/should not be done. because ive done it a few times, and so have lots of other people. they take the boost just fine.
