Isn't there a tin between the engine and trans?

Do you have any loose belts? Did you play with the timing belt? What changed between when it was last starting properly and now?

Determined it was trans oil, pulled the trans, found you had someone sell you a large-shaft 020 seal, you corrected that, then put the trans back in, and now this problem? then....

...put trans in and everything ran ok...I adjusted the idle and ip had it run ok.

Then while it was running I was playing with the idle all of a sudden it stalled chucked it up to the idle screw.

Then I removed valve cover and turned each head bolt 1/4 turn because it went through several fam cycles.

Hasn't been the same since.....!?!?!?

Check the cam and IP timing.
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

Check your crank nose sprocket too. The 1.6L's aren't known for it but the sprocket stripper on my 93 AAZ and I would get the same effect when trying to start.

there is either a broken piston, or bearings in very sad shape, in that engine.

not like internet diagnosis is the best, but my diagnosis is that it had a heart attack, and when the heart cant pump oil no more, the bearings have a heart attack.. lol.

sorry your engine is more than likely toast..

Well you guys guesed seems that the oil pump didn't prime/ lost it's prime/ or failed, but regardless the engine was oil deprived!!! And with out a doubt there is a degree of damdge!! The plan is to remove the head and the pan and inspect everything see what's damadged car was ran for no longer then 30 mom at idle had maybe three fan cycles!! What kind of damadged can I expect besides all bearings being shot and most likley broken and toasted rings??

Also I saw somthing about people upgrading to the " hydro oil pumps" they seem to flow a much greater amount of oil any insight into that would be great!!

Thank you!!

When did you first realize that oil was not flowing? Did you open the oil fill cap at the maiden start to look for oil flow? I assume not.

Almost sounds like air being pushed out through a blown headgasket.

Might be a bit late to ask these questions but...

Color of smoke out the tailpipe?

What happens if you disconnect the wire to the electrical pump (preventing the engine from wanting to fire)
Sound still there?

Post up a video of that. The engine wanting to fire is causing too much "clutter"
