I just got my flywheel resurfaced and machined at the machine shop to the tune of $76 only to realize it's a 200mm flywheel and my clutch and pressure plate are both 210mm.
Can anyone help me?
=( :'(
Said flywheel for sale here

get one off a gasser. or just order a new one. there cheap. only thing you have to worry about is if there is a TDC mark or not.

I feel a little better that the machine shop only charged me 50...I don't know what clutch I had, but it was diesel and only had 6 pp bolts. For the 210 you need 9 bolts...took me an extra 1.5 to 2 hours because of that this weekend.

okay, Catlin, how many pressure plate bolt holes are there on it?
I think my pressure plate only only has 6 bolt holes?
i'll make my own TDC mark. no big deal. That's what a dremel and yellow paint is for!

If the number of bolt holes is the same,..
can they just mill it to 210mm?

yeah i dunno? there are these two sleeves though around the inside of the flywheel that i think may get in the way?
plus the cost of milling would be more than another flywheel

I looked in my bentley and it said the diesels have 6 bolts/gassers 9...well the aaz wasn't made yet for that bentley, but it had the 210mm clutch and takes 9 bolts. I bought the aaz from Tyler to run my clutch so it had the diesel timing mark, but didn't even think about the flywheel to PP bolts. I think they are m7-1.0x43mm counterbore or 12point if you will. I sell bolts and we don't even have anything like that on the shelf, no one does. So I had to make some work with taps and dies, but you have an advantage. You have time to go to the dealer and order some and save the headache I had trying to put the engine in:D

I am talking the flywheel to pp bolts there 'should' be 9 instead of six...NOT the pp to crank that is the same:D

my pressure plate is from bildon motorsports which complicates things.
I need a flywheel Catlin, because my clutch and PP from Bildon are both 210mm in diameter and my flywheel is 200mm.
I will hopefully get a couple pictures up here about 11 or 12 hours from the time of this post.
(ps. do you think anyone would buy my flywheel with the invoice of the machining for what i paid to have it machined? It's all perfectly clean, painted and was machined yesterday. It cost me $76.50 to have it done... I'm totally bummed that i paid that much money for an item i would have otherwise taken for scrap metal and can't even use)

I JUST thought of this, How big is the Output shaft in the transmission and does your clutch fit it?, Some early models have smaller output shafts, or so I've been told.
