• I performed my Governer mod las tnight - Spacing only the main spring by 4mm.
  
  Now. It wouldn't start at first - I had to up the fuel and raise the idle to get it to start and stay running. (800rpm)
  
  I then test drove - No smoke, Less power, A lot less boost. (before I modded i had smoke, lotsof smoke)
  
  So I upped the fuel to the point where it would idle at 1000rpm. It was a little better - a bit more smoke and a bit more power. But still no where near what I expected. I feel that it was faster before.
  
  NOW
  
  I was jsut out on my lunch and it tried to run away in first gear. Too much fuel is my first suspicion but I have no smoke, no power and like 6 psi less boost. I am faily knoledgeable on these engines - But I am at a loss. I double check i got everything back on as it was prior to the mod.
  
  Anyone have any ideas?
  
  I am going to take it back apart tonight to ensure I have everything hooked up properly inside the pump.

• And this is why I love this place!
  
  After a closer inspection and cleaning all the paint off my throttle plate - It was most definitely off one tooth. Set it up again and the car is now a beast!

  Yup, I must see what this car looks like in motion, it looked pretty sweet at MVOC
