i have 2 questions to ask
number one is the injectors on a mercedes benz 300 turbo diesel bigger than the ones on the 1.6 td's?
Number two does it produce more power if the MB injectors are in the 1.6 TD? And are they interchangeable?
Thanks Corey

Stock nozzles can provide the fuel your engine needs.
There have been stories of MB nozzles knocking the precups out of the head. They are designed for a totally different precombustion chamber.

the merc ones? your actually gonna use them? dont come back here crying if they render your engine useless... we already told you the potential side effects of merc nozzles.. go with something that designed for a VW pre chamber.

Do a search for "prothe" before you buy anything from that site.

what about these- http://dieselvw.com/16TDMercedesInjector.htm
There Merc spec injectors just a spray pattern for the VW pre chamber
there merc injectors that prothe sells to install in a VW. there not the right injector. and 99% chance that they are cheap chinese junk. go with either stock, or GTD nozzles.

No, these are "VW" housings (which is irrelevant) with Merc nozzles eg. NOT for VW prechamber.
If you are running veg or bio dirty enough to foul stock injectors, different ones are not going to help you for long.
All the housings are the same, nozzle and spring setting change with application.

I wonder how the merc nozzles would do on a bio or grease engine? I remember reading somewhere that for best use (grease) they switched nozles to slightly bigger.

only non-vw nozzle i would run is a GM nozzle. the pre chambers are damn near identical to a VW. ive heard of someone else installing gm nozzles too, and we never heard any bad feedback about them..
