I resealed my 1.9 pump on the motor this week. I replaced all the seals easily done (head, top plate, the seal in the LDA, throttle, electronic advance, front seal). But I didn't pull the pump. The car starts fine but drips until warm. I've traced it down to the cold advance on the back of the pump. Any way I can replace that seal without tearing everything apart? I think I might be able to get a torx bit in there and buy a 1/4" gear wrench and back the studs out. Just not sure if there's a spring in there like the other side. Or if the studs are long.
