I have no need for this, cause I don't have an Audi.
No visable damage,

sorry real dirty

.
It has both oil feed and oil return lines still on it. Looks to be a K24 turbo. The ex. man. looks like good, with no cracks .
I'd like to get $150 for it. Make an offer.

that is a K24, and you can bolt it to a normal VW manifold with little modification. i have mine bolted to a flipped rabbit manifold. when it was still on the 5000, connected to manifolds just like what you have, it would make 25-30 lbs of boost. slightly laggy tho. it would pick up at about 2200 on the 2.0, and i dont know what the lag is like on a 1.5, cause it has never ran yet.

Blackdogvan, I sent you a PM.
I can say that the K24 on my engine build is some what laggy, but when it hits, it hits great.

Ya I forwarded it to a Eurovan diesel guy I know who can't register here. 2.4L AAB would spool that thing nicely.

I think the gasser 5000 had a k26 but I'm no expert.

It was a gasser that I got my k26 from. They also have the external waste-gate as well. That is the easiest way I know to tell the difference at a glance.

I just did a turbo swap/upgrade on a '91 Audi S4 that had a K24? All stock?
I thought the Porsche 928 things had the K26?

K26 is physically much larger than a K24 also. WAY BIGGER..

Somebody on the vortex was talking about making a hybrid with a K24 and K26.

Somebody on the vortex was talking about making a hybrid with a K24 and K26.
not worth it. the K24 hot side cant keep up with the K26 cold side. it makes your egts pretty hot. its better to just run a full K26 unless you are running about stock boost numbers, then a K24/26 might be fine.
but the general consensus on this board is that they are not worth it. people either go with the full K24 or K26, not the hybrid.
