I'm sitting here trying not to laugh out loud and look stupid BAHAHAHA, luckly nobody's paying attention to me ;D.

PLease let me in on the Refries! I AM TOO YOUNG LOL

Here's a pic: http://www.mexgrocer.com/1423.html?productid=1423&channelid=FROOG

They are soooo good.........until you (and the people around you) get sick of 'em :D.........they sound like bearings too........
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

Love it!   Kinda like "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" except bearing failure is linked to re-fried beans...

Now, can we tie IP leaks to avocados???

So i guess the moral of the story is: If you give a vw the beans it'll have a blowout in the back end.

So heres the update.

A $4 inner bearing (axle) seal that was defective let water into the bearing seizing it up. Within 2000kms of being installed this led to a catastrophic failure, with the added bonus of destroying the stub axle...... all luckily covered under warranty. Yay for warranties!!!!!!

lmfao @ the cool beans thing.. it kinda goes with the page.

really jeremy? you are too young for cheech and chong? im not that much older, and cheech and chong movies/soundtracks are a big part of my childhood. i dunno where i would be now if cheech and chong had never came about. chong is a VW enthusiast too, he has a white convertible beetle with a Rolls Royce grille on it. it was in the movie "Up In Smoke"..
