The block in your link sure is purrdy
Thats a good colour for a block IMO. I would do it that colour if I were painting mine.
John Deere green would look stellar as well.

Thanks . does anyone have pictures of a clean block with the oem paint? I would go with the detroit diesel green over the john deere.

John Deere green might be close. Later blocks are black. Oil pan and valve cover is always black.

My block is green, I'd guess it's original. I can barely see the block (too dirty) except were the coolant runs down the back of the block and washes it
