Check out my new fuel filter
« on: February 12, 2010, 12:08:36 pm »
Received my new Stanadyne filter system the other day and it looks impressive. Bought this as well as getting my pump re-done by Giles and I must say Giles and Tyler are great guy's to deal with. As you can see in the picture they also threw in a couple of other parts I needed.

Thanks guy's!

I am not familiar with this system, can you elaborate on it and why you would change over from the stock system?

Pro's and con's, also, what is the price and how hard to do the install?

I assume that you are putting this on a 1.6 N/A?

In the picture, you have two filters (A big one and a small one) Which one are you using? Then I assume the clear plastic piece to the right is the fuel/water seperator?

What size microns?
The mask and the shot(s) are actually an IQ test. If you are wearing or circulating, you just failed the test. I can't feel sorry for you.

When I installed the filter in my Jetta install wasn't quite as easy as it hit the hood

I will for sure be getting one of these! They are "badbutt" ;)

Tyler, for your setup.. is it $38or 39 for the fm10 setup and filter.. then like 19 for the filter from then on? and can it be sourced through you guys for future filters? will you carry these in stock in regularization form ;)
