I don't have a pair of calipers handy, knowing my luck I assume the front seal in this kit is the larger/wrong one?

Correct. It is for the 20mm shaft.

I thought so, you'd think after paying a couple hundred percent markup and giving them the pump numbers an established shop could
get it right. Thanks man

The DGK121 kit is for a Cummins pump. I can't recall the proper seal number you need.

yeah, DGK126 is the kit you want,..
unless it's a TD.
Actually the only thing in a 121 kit needed for the TD pump, that the 121 doesn't have; is the o-ring for the LDA.
I just ordered some of those seperately:
1 460 210 347
So for the TD pump:
a DGK 126 seal set,
and the LDA o-ring
and a front seal

The 121 kit has all the LDA bits. That's what we use at the shop. The only two it doesn't have is the fast idle lever and one for the cold start advance, unless it's an early pump.
1 460 283 312 is the drive shaft seal you need.

I got the seal separately today.
One more time and I'll quit bugging you guys bout this, assuming an early NA pump
and having the correct smaller input shaft seal (that I got today), am I set with that
and the 121 kit?

I think you will be missing the o-ring for the cold start advance.

I think you will be missing the o-ring for the cold start advance.
and that one is very prone to leaking...

The cold start cover o-rings are the same on both the front and back side yes? There are two kinda flat looking
green o-rings I assumed were for them, not so?
Can someone complain to Bosch about an authorized distributor that has there logo plastered all
over being marginally competent I wonder? I have specifically told them the 126 kit twice now,
today's answer was "oh they used different size shafts on vw's, you need this one" that I had
just told him already that I needed. And told them specifically, and given pump numbers when I first went there.
This is why I never buy local, NOBODY can do anything right in this area, it's disgusting.

no, the actual o-ring for the cold start lever shaft. the shaft that goes through the piece of aluminum that screws onto the back (side) of the pump.

Ahhh, gotcha. I've only sealed one of these before, didn't remember.
Is it a standard-ish size o-ring by chance?
And don't I remember there being two green 0-rings for the little pressure regulator valve dealy?
I don't see them in the 121 kit, surely the cummins VE has one?
I think this is the kit I have.

Yes that looks like the 121 kit.
The 121 kit has all the o-rings you need except the one I listed above.

So if you get the 121 set; you won't get the cold start o-ring that goes around the rotating cold start shaft,... and you'll end up with a 19mm seal you can't use.
...and if you order the DGK-126 you won't get the LDA o-ring (if you are doing a TD pump),.. and you'll get no shaft seal at all.
