I will definitely buy 1 set. I prefer the euro 1.6TD (JX) hoses.

Is there any consensus on the differences between the hose sets for the euro JX & whatever else exists?

what's the significance of TUV certification for a state side van? seems like a way to cut down on the price some.

It's a Euro spec like : SAE or DOT
US Spec : SAE J20R3
The tooling is what makes assy's pricey

I would be interested in a set. I have a converted van and '82 or '83 hoses would probably both work with some mods on my part.

What year are the obsolete hoses? '82 or '83?
Here's a shot of the '82 and another with size differences labeled on the TIICO hoses - all VERY rough measurements.
Maybe use the '82 octopus hoses for routing, since it seems to take the injection lines into account - and also the lower return hose, since it bends around the fuel filter - but step the ends so gas to diesel conversions with the larger coolant pipe and expansion tanks could pop them right in? ('83 has the larger tank but the smaller pipes)
Perhaps combine the later w.pump to exp tank hoses so the larger part routes around the engine mount like an '82, but it looks like the heater line on the JX/TIICO might be going around the later-style expansion tank. (Can anyone confirm how the later style heater hose fits on a stock '82 engine?)
I'm also wondering if there's a reason why the '82-'83 style hoses aren't being used for diesel conversions, other than being NLA - any design issues?
Anyone got a STOCK 1983 HOSE pic they could share? Differences with the '82?

Stock '82 hoses:

TIICO gasser hoses (which look nearly *identical* to the JX Euro turbo diesel hoses - except for the one bend in the straight hose) Measurements are from the '82 stock hoses, but in the same places:

THE FIRST TWO GOING TO TOOLING ARE :
025-21-062E LIST , STOCK 82.69
025-121-062 F LIST, STOCK EPDM TYPE 139.90
There will two pictures to compare, stock versus Silicone
Black
Iam probly doing 25 each on these, that way there is no tooling cost ( mandrell )
I belive there are apart of the Tiico kit

I'm confused: why are you starting with these? I thought we were talking diesel hoses here.

I know , but these where the first sent in , Iam waiting for a complete Diesel set to arrive, it's nice to see the original and oem price and compare quality for a first article on the silicone type.
I look forward to various model's..

Euro DV set shipped out Friday, you should get it Mon or Tues. I included my front hoses also, which are '86 WBXer style, they don't have the uprights that early DV hoses do...
FWIW, comparing the pic above of the TIICO set to my set showed them to be practically identical, the only difference being a slight offset twist to the ends of the small single z-shaped hose.
