well, i can report back that my JTD gets better economy turning 2450 revs @ 60mph, rather than 3000 revs @ 60 mph..

hell... mi with 55mph limit was 80-90... 20 years ago.... 22mpg pulling car back at 1 point... best of my trip... 6400 miles... i5 from san fran to la... pulling car at that... 34mpg... only cause the whole cali 55max speed towig law... what ive found is past 55mph the milage drops quick... 30-35 at 70 is commo... around town 40+... 70-80 like i saw lots of out west.. 28mpg.. but big square box.. its air flow losses..
