Ain't got one. Need a pipe plug pronto. What's the mm/pitch for that fitting into the side of the block where the turbo would normally drain back?

Tomorrow will be great. The local metric bolt supply house will be open Friday so I can button up the new block this weekend. I'm expecting you to say 14 or 15mm fine as a rough eyeball estimate. I can't find anything that big in my various bolt buckets.

1.25 is finer than 1.50.

Huge thanks, GEE BEE.
Yikes, it's a $15 bolt with tax and shipping, if you can find a disti that'll sell only one.
Better than an empty hole in the side of the block spewing oil, seeing as I spent the day and a 1/2 case of engine degreaser scrubbing the chassis and driveline in preparation for stabbing the new 1.9 in.
Looks like the previous owners could not stop the various previous engine incarnations from spewing forth from every seam, every gasket.
These 1.9's sure do look regal (and really tall) fully dressed on an engine stand, makes me wonder how you vw guys can fit all that stuff under the hood without flopping it over at a 45 like the vanagon guys do.
I'm really hoping my front and rear 3rd member trade with Idaho delivers before I have to bury the front diff under franken one nine, cuz that b$tch is heavy...

Yep time is money...

I used to have a aircraft hose shop at Long beach Airport, I did low psi 50 to 6000 opsi S/S braided teflon hoses

Some of the new stuff is Kevlar braided with Ti Fitting's

C17

B777 / B780 dreamliner

Are the two newer aircraft with those hose assy's

I now do custom silicone seal's and extrusion's
