I believe myke_w has H-beam chromoly rods for sale that will fit the AAZ. Used to have them for $550 shipped which is a very good price. kermatdi also has H-beam rods for the AAZ for around $700, I think.

I will def look into it, I don't feel like blowing a rod going down the road or strip

I was recommended Not to run NOS on it because I already have a force induction motor and anymore I risk blowing the block...Any Input on that?

I got the temporary motor for my car so I can rebuild the one thats in it. The reason I'm not rebuilding the new one is its only got 170,000KM on it and the one in the golf's got 353,000KM and is pretty tired lol
And I know the car is in rought shape, someone did that to it at night when buddy was sleeping lol

Got the parts car running today took it for a rip up the street....Damn that thing can pull :D, made me happy to know how good the motor worked...then drove it in the shop and ripped the motor out of it lol, we are getting too good at this because I brought the car into the shop at 10AM and at 1:30PM the motor was sitting on the floor and I was prepping the transmission for removal lol.

no one on here likes the K24/26 there isnt enough exhaust getting out of it to be a performance gain. the K26 will out perform a 24/26 hybrid any day. a K26 makes 35 psi happily. thats what i was told to use.

I think now I'm either going to run with either a K24 or K26.

After helping my friend bring his smashed car home to NS I stayed for a couple days...Meet a Few people from Custom Obessisons. One of the guys gave me a full size TDI Factory Intercooler ;D How hard is that going to be to mount up on my MK3?

Ya just gotta come out here to the wet coast, eh?  Pretty rare to see rust-outs in my neck of the woods.  Pretty much every car in the scrapper is there due to a crash.
