Open wrench for injectors
« on: October 03, 2009, 05:45:03 am »
Hi again, do you think i can unscrew the aaz injectors with an open wrench forcing at the top of the injector (just below the connection link made from rubber) or will i brake it into? What size of wrench?

Maybe a dumb question but prevention....

thx

You need a socket. I dont doubt you can do it with a wrench but your really going to stress out the injector boss's that way and risk breaking.

don't take the injector apart right there, take it loose at the base.

27mm
or
1 and 1/16 inch

socket

make sure your force is ALWAYS applied TOWARDS the head - NOT towards the radiator - whether loosening or tightening the injectors.

and don't accidentally forget that !  ;)
it could cost you another head.
