I was wondering if you could run a 1.9 pump on a 1.6 motor. Do you need the 1.9 bracket or the 1.6? Which pump gear do you need? Also what about the injector lines and timing belt? Can I time it the same way as the bentley describes? Thanks for the help.

gotta time it with the right injectors in it to make the bently timing spec any good. n/a injectors are like 130 bar or something, and turbo injectors are 155 bar or something. so there will be artificial advance with the 1.6 injectors and AAZ pump.

You had better check that the pulley offsets match, as the later pumps have a meatier bearing at the cambelt pulley end of the pump, (a good thing, as due to wear the pulleys on my 1.6 GTD's flop about like spastic fish
) This might make it a non easy swap.
