1.9T VE vs PD engine mounting differences?
« on: August 28, 2009, 09:05:07 am »
Looking to find out if the 1z/AHU VE 1.9T has the same engine mount configuration as a newer 1.9T PD offered in bugs and jettas? Any insight greatly appreciated, I am getting the itch for a quiet diesel......

Well after some searching on several forums I have found that the internal water pump poses a fitment issue on the passenger side motor mount for the PD engines.

The PD can be maded to fit just like the ALH can be made to fit. There is a guy on the tdiclub that is working on a PD Corrado swap and I've done a couple different TDI swaps. Click on the link in my sig for details. :)
