So long as the seal is not PTFE (teflon), then you should be fine. Those are gray with a really thin lip. They also take a special tool to install. Real basturds those are.
I've reused the regular rubber seals before.
Just make sure you push it up against the shoulder of the #1 cam journal CAREFULLY, and then tighten down the cam cap.
In theory, you're supposed to work the #2 and # 4 cam caps down slowly until the cam is seated. Then, you can adjust the cam seal if necessary, and then install the other 3 caps. Or, do the #2 and #4 caps, and then slip the cam seal back on.
