Cold Start Cable Problem
« on: August 07, 2009, 12:47:30 pm »
Hey guys,

I seem to be having an issue with the cold start cable in my '97 AAZ Jetta. I can pull it out no problem and it moves the lever on the back of the pump; but when I push the handle back in, the lever doesn't reset and I have to push it back with a screwdriver. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I bet the clip fell off the housing on the back of the pump. Either that or the housing is no longer held solid on the knob end. ;)
'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.

I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.
