i think he means the angled oil filter flange off a van or something.
every other flange ive seen sits at a right angle to the face of the block.

In that case I can`t be of assistance. I do still have the vacuum pump if it`s the same though...

You really shouldn't replace just the rod cap.  They are matched to the rod.  You should replace the entire rod if the cap is a problem.

Andrew

i always thought they were kinda a matched set too.
by the way, how did you just loose or mess up just the rod cap?

Oil filter blewout and lost all oil , enging seized crank shaft was toast, allthe rods and caps are reusable but I mangled one cap while removing it.

I already got the vac pump.

Does anyone have an extra rod available?

I do need the oilfilter adapter for a longitudinal motor it is for my brothers samurai.
Thanks guys.

I just happened to have a Quantum (angled) oil filter mount. How much is it worth to you? I know they are hard to come by.

I believe I paid $15.00 for mine. Is that agreeable to you plus shipping to 93614 Clifornia?

And I am still looking for a good piston rod.

How does $30.00 plus shipping sound for a rod and the angled flange?
