This weekend was the Automotive Service Association's "Vision" training event and trade show, here in Kansas City.
I attended 3 classes.
1. Bosch Passenger Car Diesel by Dave Boley
2. Bosch Gasoline Direct Injection by Ryan Barr
3. Diesel Driveability by Dave Scaler
Dave Boley and Ryan Barr are trainers from the Bosch training center in Broadview IL. #1 was on common rail systems, but covered some of the changes from VE to PD to the common rail system on the new 2.0. #2 was a neat class but not diesel of course...
#3 was an awsome class that covered common rail diagnosis on powerstroke, cummins, duramax and mercedes systems on the Sprinter, international and mercedes vans. All of which is applicable to the VW common rail system as well.
Awesome stuff! Probably same classes will be offered next year, if anyone wants to attend.

http://www.boschtechinfo.com. They have some online courses but I wasn't impressed with the online selection.
Dave Scaler's class is from Mechanic's Education Association from
