Cold start handle
« on: August 17, 2005, 11:18:01 am »
About 90% of the time when I start with the cold start handle I forget to put it back in once the engine is warmed up.  What negative effects does this have?  Worse mileage?  Lower power?

It probably doesn't make much (if any) difference in the mileage, but you might experience the slightest power gain below 2k rpm. Oh, and the engine will be a little bit louder at idle. That's probably about it.
