ya i have absolutly no luck with this car what so ever . i finally got it started last night  . then it just stopped. so i get it to TDC. and the cam slipped 90 deg. ***!!!. so i checked the crank sprocket and the little nubs on it had sheared off. so im assuming thats where my problem was in the first place  . so once again i have to build up the head and get a new sprocket and bolt for the crank and pray that all gors right then 2nd time around

Ouch.

Sounds like the lifters mushroomed into the lifter bores. I'd take it to a shop to get them out. You'll need to hone/fill/rebore the lifter bores after that.

You may just want to junk the head if that's possible. If you've got an AAZ, I guess heads are hard to come by, so good luck either way.
