K03 to VNT swap

Hi crew,
I am working towards a VNT install on my AAZ powered van. I have a sweet K03 but with 99.9% of my driving below 3500rpm I think a VNT15 would be a better fit. I only run 15lbs but having that 15lbs at a significantly lower rpm is the goal. Is it possible to mount a VNT15 core and compressor onto a K03 turbine end or is there a VNT15 model that will bolt directly to my mani? Keeping the wastegate appeals to me in case of boost spikes. I know whats required for the VNT control so that does not worry me for the project thanks to the Tintin/Libby/Jimfoo posts.
I've read through a few of the VNT threads but couldn't see this info...

I meant the turbine end of the vnt turbo fitting into the turbine housing of the k03. In hind sight if it was that easy everyone here would have done it!

I bought one with the separate mani on ebay last summer, didn't know it was anything special. I think I paid about $160. Someone must've snuck one into the US haha.

'82 Rabbit, I put on a euro vnt-15, 2.25" DP, 2.5" exhaust, the result.....it whistled.
I removed the turbo, made a toilet bowl 2.5" DP, the result....it was deafening. Now it has a homemade muffler up front and a thrush in the rear, the result.....less loud.

This guy might have something you could use, not VNT but might work fine.

Don't know if they're junk or what but they sure are cheap enough.

Ya, the K03 does spool nice at low rpm & can hold 15psi as long as the aaz likes to rev, which isn't too high anyway. I think its as close to a lagless wastegated turbo as you can find. I like low end grunt over screaming rpm, guess thats why I dislike 2 stroke jimmys.
