Dismantling Vacuumpump

I'm in the process of taking of all of the parts I want to have electrolytic zinccoated (polished afterwards) to get rid of most of the rusty parts onder my hood when the JR is going to be transplanted...

I took off my vacuumpump and unscrewed the lid.. but how do I get the axle out?
