Not sure what the difference is visually does anyone have any pics? Here is a pic of mine.

I think it's just plunger size and cam plate in the pump doesn't have quite so steep a vertex on an evo pump. Less lift = less fuel = eco?

depends on witch your refering too? 1.6 or 1.9

My 1.9 doesnt have that thing sticking out on the top middle.

Thats the manual shutoff(kill switch) for the auto peugoet.vw didnt offer that on the 1.6.

you have a passat by chance? there is a pic. around here of a passat echo pump around here on the forum!

It may have come out of a passat but It looks different than that one. Im going to try to snap a pic of it tomorrow in the daylight and post it.

Well you certainly have an 1.9l AAZ-style pump with a LDA.

Can you make out any of the numbers on the side ?? In particular, if you can get teh Bosch number or the number that starts with VE we can figure out the plunger size.

Where would I find it. There is a small plate on the side that has a bunch of numbers on it. But I dont see one that starts with VE.
